The Maison du Fier welcomes you in the very last salt shed on the island of Ré. Discover exhibitions on fauna and flora and the formation of the Ile de Ré during your visit. It brings together geese and ducks in winter, not to mention the blue gorges and common terns in spring.
For you to plan your visit, discover the dates and opening hours of the Maison du Fier. From March 26 to June 30, it is open every day, except Saturday morning, from 10am to 12:30 pm and from 14:30 to 18:00. In full summer, that is from July 1 to August 31, it opens every day, except Saturday morning, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 1 pm. From September 1st to October 2nd and from October 20th to November 2nd, it is open every day, except Saturday morning, from 10am to 12:30 pm and from 14:30 to 18:00. Outside these periods, the House of the Fier remains closed.
If you want to visit the Maison du Fier, it is good to know that the full price is 5 euros. The unemployed, students, people with reduced mobility and schoolchildren benefit from a reduced rate of 3 euros. As for children under 5, admission is free. It is also possible to benefit from a group rate of 4 euros. This rate is applied from 12 people.
If you want to make discovery outings, the full price is 8 euros, 5 euros for the reduced price and free for children under 5 years. For the price of nature walks, it is 3 euros the full price, 2 euros the reduced rate and free for children under 5 years.
