As the gateway to the Ile de Ré, Rivedoux Plage is the first village to be discovered when arriving on the island via the bridge linking it to the mainland. Summer and winter alike, this commune welcomes visitors. It offers a variety of ways to discover its beauty, richness and heritage.

Whatever the season, many holidaymakers come to the Ile de Ré, or more precisely to Rivedoux Plage, to indulge in their favorite activities. Stroll through the heart of the village, with its typical white houses with green shutters, or along the harbor, hike in the heart of nature in Les Bois or on the Pointe de Chaveau, relax or play sports on the beaches, or discover new cultures.
From this village, you can explore the maritime pines, oyster beds and countryside of the Rhaeto-Rhône region, following the hiking and cycling trails. It is also the starting point for over 100 km of trails criss-crossing the island. This unspoilt nature is full of pleasant surprises and encounters. This village is close to our Ile de ré campsite.
