The south coast (Rivedoux, Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, La Couarde-sur-Mer) boasts some beautiful beaches sheltered from the wind, offering children and beginners the chance to learn this sport in complete safety. For more experienced riders, there are more windy spots.
