Boat trips from Ile de Ré

What better way to round off your camping vacation on the Ile de Ré than with a boat trip? Take advantage of a sunny day to sail off the Charentes Maritimes islands along the itinerary of your choice. Whether you’re looking for an hour’s ride or a full day’s outing, Ile de Ré Nautisme offers a range of packages to suit all tastes!

Off the coast of Ile de Ré by boat

Those who love the fresh sea air and adventure can treat themselves to a full-day boat trip (7 hours of sailing): The “Le Tour des Pertuis” cruise will set course for Fort Boyard and Île d’Aix, sailing along the coast of Île de Ré. It’s the perfect way to take in stunning seascapes and enjoy a 2- to 3-hour stopover so you don’t miss a single moment of the day.

Half a day on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean

For a pleasant, gentle introduction, you can also opt for a half-day (5 hours) on the same trip, as well as the “Tour de l’île de Ré” route, with a convivial picnic on the boat deck, or “Les vieilles tours”, which ends with a visit to the “bout du monde” lighthouse near Minimes beach, and an entry into old La Rochelle, guarded by the Chaîne and St Nicolas towers.

Finally, if you’re traveling with children and prefer a shorter tour, opt for “La balade du Fiers ” (about 2 hours and 30 minutes), which passes by the famous Courant du Fiers and ends on a high note in the old port of Ars, or the discovery walk (1 hour) starting from the port of St. Martin, which will take you along the magnificent Vauban ramparts of St. Martin de Ré.
