Île de Ré activities

Whether you’re travelling as a family, a couple or with a group of friends, Ré la Blanche is an ideal destination for an active holiday. In the “Sports” family, two disciplines in particular stand out on the island of Ré: cycle tourism and water sports. With over 100 kilometres of cycle paths criss-crossing the island, you and your children can ride along well-maintained greenways in complete safety along the coast, through the woods and through the salt marshes. The Rhaeto-Raône coastline, particularly the beaches on the south coast (Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, La Couarde-sur-Mer), boasts some superb surfing spots.
